Are you a NICET certified professional looking to join a rapidly growing business? Elite Fire is actively searching for a Fire Sprinkler Designer based out of Hiawatha, IA.

The Fire Sprinkler Designer is responsible for reviewing construction contract documents and coordinating with sub-contractors and the General Contractor/owner to gather the required information to design the project’s sprinkler system.

Elite Fire specializes in the design, installation, service and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems for new and existing buildings. Our licensed and certified professional team has over 34 years of experience and is committed to keeping facilities protected from fire damage.

Job Duties:

Create detailed drawings through extensive use of AutoCAD, AutoSprink, or HydraCAD type programs

Develop initial schedules for preliminary project work

Visualize 3D concepts and solve basic mathematic problems

Interpret and apply applicable NFPA standards

Use analytical thinking and problem solving to determine construction feasibility and system possibilities

Obtain and retain any licenses that are required by national, state/province, and local codes. (Company Paid)

Job Requirements:

NICET Level 4 required

5+ year in the Sprinkler industry

HS Diploma/GED required

Must have a valid driver’s license
